At last, after a period of uncertainty, a lovely couple have bought the mirror image of our house - the terrace next door.*
Here we're having a bit of bubbly, and the OH is dishing out advice by the barrel-load.
As I'm typing this, the plasterers are already re-plastering their kitchen (on stilts!).
Everything is happening rather speedily next door, and we're absolutely in awe of how quickly they're turning the tired house with 'lots of potential' into a wonderful family home.
*Ed. - We knew that the house would be let to other people once it was refurbished, and since October 2011 to the time of writing (Sep 2013), it has been rented by a delightful couple and their child. :D
