Working at height: linseed paint for the window

The weather was right - so out came the linseed oil paint...

Phew, exhausting work!  :-)

This is the second coat with linseed oil paint (we used the stuff from Holkham Linseed Paint, who have subsequently changed their name to Linseed Paint & Wax Co.), and as before, it goes on like a treat and even sticks to the bits that I didn't strip back to bare wood, e.g. the glazing bar (also called a 'muntin').

Thanks to our scaffolding, the OH could get these birds eye views of what I was doing. Looks nice with the round brick step.
